A Visit Home

So, as I stated before, David was denied his Visa to visit the U.S. So Aaron and I went alone. It was a good visit. My father had not yet met his grandson so that was exciting and we were able to be there for my father's birthday. Many family members came over to see us and we were able to go to visit other family and friends.
While home Aaron's aunt Johnita (my sister) bought him a Jumperoo. I was so anxious to get back to Mexico and put it together and let Aaron jump away. It was so funny to see him in it. We had to put a pillow under his feet because he couldn't touch the floor. (see video)
I also bought him some rice cereal, his first solid food. He wasn't sure what it was or what it was for, but it didn't take him long to figure it out. By the third day he realized that it was the cure to his hunger.
This week we are hosting the first of our summer groups. Since having Aaron, I haven't done too much in the kitchen. During the Spring I made desserts and now I'm doing desserts and evening kitchen prep. David takes care of the baby at 5 p.m. when he gets off of work and then I go into the kitchen to help get dinner ready for 6 p.m. It's nice to be back in there. I love the kitchen!
