The KKK Working at the EOC?

So I looked out my window this morning and wasn't sure it was safe for me to go outside. Why? I saw this man with a white hood over his head. As you all know that has never been a welcomed sight for my people. But, seriously, it was Roldolfo who is a house leader and mechanic here at the Ensenada Outreach Center. He was painting with a sprayer and didn't want to get the paint in his hair and on his face. As soon as I saw him I laughed and thought, "I've got to take a picture of that."

Potpourri

I know, I know. It has been a terribly long time, but now that I have internet in my house I promise to post more often.
Well, right now we are in our slow season. Actually, during the month of May we do not normally have groups. It's the time that I usually go home and speak to different groups in order to raise support. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do that last year because I got married in May and not able to do it again this year because my husband cannot cross the border to the United States. In fact, he went today to apply for his Tourist Visa, but was denied. So we shall spend another May here in Mexico.

Aaron continues to grow and gain weight. Right now he is 3 months and 1 week and he weighs 18 pounds. He has outgrown his 0-3 months clothes and there are some 6 month clothes that he cannot fit. Hopefully, his weight gain will slow down so that we do not have to put him on a diet. He's discovered his hands so he's always sucking on them. David loves to talk to him which makes Aaron laugh and talk. I love to hear him laugh. Sometimes when he's eating he just looks and me and smiles. AAAAHHHHH!

Speaking of babies. Melody and Jeremy had baby Caleb on April 4. They are also missionaries here with YUGO. In July Angela and Daniel will have a baby boy too. I guess it's the year of the boy.

May 10th was not only Mother's Day, but it was also David's birthday. I made him a cake and we celebrated with a few friends. In the picture, Aaron has a fork in his hand ready for his piece.

On another note. On Friday we moved to another house. We used to live on the street that is on the back side of the camp. We now live on the same street. David has moved his office to the house and in his office he has his beloved drumset. The house has two stories so from our bedroom we have a small view of the ocean.
