Aaron David Trules

Well, our little bundle of joy has finally arrived. Aaron David Trules arrived just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11. He weighed 7.5 lbs (3.400 kilos) and was 19.7 inches (50 cm). During the last week and a half of my pregnancy my blood pressure had been up and down. The doctor had me checking it twice a day to decide whether or not to let the pregnancy continue or to do a cesarean. On February 10 it was back up so the doctor decided that the 11th would be Aaron's birth date. So I called my family and that day they made their way down to San Diego and then to Mexico the next day. They got here just at the time we needed to leave for the hospital. I had to be at the hospital at 4 p.m. and the surgery was scheduled for 6:30. The doctor got there sometime after 7. They allowed my mother to go in with me and to take pictures. She was able to film the surgery and the APGAR tests with the pediatrician. We have had lots of visitors over the last week and my family just left this morning. So now the true test begins. How will we fare on our own?
